Alerts to orders

Telegram alerts to Nyria Paper orders

Nyria joins a Telegram group or channel you run as an admin that only reads. A call posted there, in the poster's own words, fills on Nyria Paper at the live quote the moment it lands. No broker connected, no card, and a timestamped log of every call.

How it works

A call is posted

Someone posts in the group or channel: BTO AAPL 345c 11/20, or a plain sentence. Nyria reads the chat you picked, and only the author or keyword you filter on.

Nyria reads it

Ticker, side, and any strike, expiry or price in the text. A message more than a minute old opens nothing. What the message leaves out comes from the strategy and the paper bot.

Nyria Paper fills it

The paper bot fills at the quote Nyria read when the message arrived, logs it with the time, and matches every later exit to the position it closes.

What a Telegram call can say

Each row is a message as it is posted in the chat, and what the paper bot does with it.

An options call with a price

BTO AAPL 345c 11/20 @ 12.50

Buy to open the AAPL $345 call expiring Nov 20, 2026. With the limit set to Alert price the paper order is placed at 12.50 and fills or is refused at once against the live ask; with Ask or Mid it is priced from the chain.

A stock call

NVDA long here 228

Buy NVDA at 228, or at the ask if the strategy uses market orders. No size in the message, so the paper bot's budget per entry sets how many whole shares.

A crypto call late at night

Long BTC here

Buy BTC spot at the quote Nyria read when the message arrived. Nyria Paper fills crypto at any hour, so a midnight call fills at midnight.

An exit, as a sentence

Taking profits on NVDA here

Close the NVDA position the paper bot holds. If the bot holds none, nothing is placed and the Logs tab records why.

Set it up

  1. 1Create a Nyria account. Select Integrations in the left sidebar, then the Nyria Paper card, then Create Nyria Paper account. No card and no broker.
  2. 2In a new strategy pick Telegram and select Connect Telegram. Press Start in the chat with @NyriaAlertsBot, then tap Link in its reply.
  3. 3Add Nyria to the group or channel as an admin. You need to be its owner, or an admin who can add admins.
  4. 4Choose the chat in the strategy, filter by author or keyword if you want to, and check a real message from the preview. The strategy stays inactive until Nyria reads it correctly.
  5. 5On the strategy, select Deploy bot, switch to Paper, set the Budget per entry and select Deploy on Nyria Paper. The next call in the chat is a paper fill, listed on the Logs tab next to the message.

The one-minute rule, on paper

Telegram delivers a message once, and Nyria reads it when it arrives. A call that reaches Nyria more than a minute after it was posted opens no new position, on paper or live, because a minute-old price on an options call is a different trade from the one the caller took. The paper log shows each of those refusals with its reason, so a chat whose calls tend to arrive late shows that before any money is on the line.

Exits are the other half. A close posted for a position the paper bot holds runs however late it is, matched to that position. A close for a position it never opened places nothing. Over a month, the log reads as a plain list: which calls opened, at what quote, which closed, and which were refused.

Run it on paper with the same budget per entry you would use live. A budget too small for one contract is refused on paper the way a broker would refuse it, and that is a cheaper place to find out.

What Nyria Paper trades from Telegram calls

The rules for Telegram alerts are on the Telegram page, and the walkthrough of the chat, the filters and the check before going live is the Telegram guide.

Fills on Nyria Paper

A market order fills at the ask to buy and the bid to sell, from the quote Nyria read when the alert arrived, and never slips. A limit order fills or is refused at once against that quote and never rests. Nothing queues and nothing partially fills.

A spread fills at its natural price. An option held to expiry settles in cash at its intrinsic value. A paper market order pays the quoted spread and nothing more, so paper profit and loss usually reads better than live.

Questions

Can I paper trade a Telegram channel I only subscribe to?
No. Nyria joins a group or channel as an admin that only reads, and you have to be its owner or an admin who can add admins. A channel you only read is not a source. A group of your own where the calls are forwarded is.
What if a call is edited, or arrives late?
An edited message places no paper order; post a new one. A call that reaches Nyria more than a minute after it was posted, or after a newer one, opens nothing. A close in it still runs, and the log says why. The paper bot runs under the same rule as a live bot, so a chat whose calls arrive late shows it on paper first.
Does the paper bot post anything in the chat?
No. Nyria joins with one right, manage chat, and only reads. It checks the chat when you save or re-activate the strategy and at least daily, and stops reading if it is removed.
Is Nyria Paper a real broker?
No. Nyria Paper is the simulated account built into Nyria. Orders are priced from live market data, nothing reaches a real broker or exchange and no money moves.
Can one chat feed a paper bot and a live bot at once?
Yes. One alert reaches every bot on the strategy, so the paper bot keeps running as a control after a second bot is deployed on a connected Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca account.
How many paper bots can I run?
Up to 10 without a plan, on Nyria Paper or on a broker's own paper account. There is no time limit and no card.
What does it cost?
Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
