Alerts to orders

Discord alerts to Nyria Paper orders

The Nyria bot reads one channel in a Discord server you run. Each call posted there, in the caller's own words, fills on Nyria Paper at the live quote the moment it lands. A month of a caller's record on paper, with timestamps, before a dollar is at risk.

How it works

A call is posted

Someone posts in the channel: TSLA 370p 10/30, or a plain sentence. Nyria reads the channel you picked, and only the author or keyword you filter on.

Nyria reads it

Ticker, side, and any strike, expiry or price in the text. What the message leaves out comes from the strategy and the paper bot: size, order type, duration.

Nyria Paper fills it

The paper bot fills at the quote Nyria read when the message arrived, logs it with the time, and matches every later exit to the position it closes.

What a Discord call can say

Each row is a message as a caller posts it, and what the paper bot does with it.

An options call, as a caller types it

TSLA 370p 10/30 @ 9.80

Buy to open the TSLA $370 put expiring Oct 30, 2026. With the strategy's limit set to Alert price the paper order goes out at 9.80; with Ask or Mid it is priced from the live chain at that moment.

A stock call with a level

IWM long here 282

Buy IWM at 282 as a limit, or at the ask as a market order, whichever the strategy sets. The message carries no size, so the paper bot's budget per entry decides how many whole shares.

A crypto call on a weekend

Long BTC here

Buy BTC spot at that moment's quote. Nyria Paper fills crypto at any hour, so a Saturday call is filled on Saturday rather than at Monday's open.

An exit, in a sentence

Taking profits on TSLA here

Close the open TSLA position the paper bot holds. An exit posted for a position the bot never opened places nothing, and the log says so.

Set it up

  1. 1Create a Nyria account. Select Integrations in the left sidebar, then the Nyria Paper card, then Create Nyria Paper account. No card and no broker.
  2. 2Create a strategy with Discord as the alert source and invite the Nyria bot to a server you run. You need the Manage Server permission to add it.
  3. 3Pick the channel the calls are posted in. Filter by author if several people post there, or by a keyword if the channel mixes calls with talk.
  4. 4Check a real message from the preview. The strategy stays inactive until Nyria reads one correctly, and the Logs tab shows the ticker, side, strike and expiry it read.
  5. 5On the strategy, select Deploy bot, switch to Paper, set the Budget per entry and select Deploy on Nyria Paper. The next call in the channel is a paper fill.

Grading a caller on paper

A screenshot of a winning call proves one call. A paper bot that took every call in the channel for a month, at the quote on the moment each was posted, proves the record. The Logs tab lists each message, the time Nyria read it, the fill, and the exit that closed it, so the wins and the losses sit in one list with nothing left out.

The paper fill is the honest version of the caller's price. A call that says 9.80 and a chain that shows 10.40 by the time the message lands fills at 10.40 when the limit is Ask, or is refused at once when the limit is Alert price. Either way the gap is in the log, which is the first thing to know before copying that caller with real money.

If the channel has several callers, run one strategy per author with the author filter, each on its own paper bot with the same budget per entry. After a month the logs compare them on equal terms.

Fills on Nyria Paper

A market order fills at the ask to buy and the bid to sell, from the quote Nyria read when the alert arrived, and never slips. A limit order fills or is refused at once against that quote and never rests. Nothing queues and nothing partially fills.

A spread fills at its natural price. An option held to expiry settles in cash at its intrinsic value. A paper market order pays the quoted spread and nothing more, so paper profit and loss usually reads better than live.

Questions

Can I paper trade a channel in a server I don't run?
No. The Nyria bot joins a server where you hold the Manage Server permission and reads one channel you pick there. A channel you only read in someone else's server is not a source. The usual answer is a server of your own where the calls are reposted, or a filter by author in a server you run.
Which messages does the paper bot act on?
Only the channel you picked, and only the author or keyword you filter on if you set one. Replies, questions and chatter from everyone else place nothing, and messages elsewhere in the server are never read.
What happens to a call posted after the close?
A stock or crypto call fills on paper at that moment's quote. An options call is refused while the options market is closed, written to the log with the reason, and not queued for the open. That mirrors what a live broker would do with the same alert.
Is Nyria Paper a real broker?
No. Nyria Paper is the simulated account built into Nyria. Orders are priced from live market data, nothing reaches a real broker or exchange and no money moves.
Can one channel feed a paper bot and a live bot at once?
Yes. One alert reaches every bot on the strategy, so a paper bot can keep running as a control after a second bot is deployed on a connected Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca account.
How many paper bots can I run?
Up to 10 without a plan, on Nyria Paper or on a broker's own paper account. There is no time limit and no card.
What does it cost?
Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
