Alerts to orders

Telegram alerts to tastytrade orders

Nyria joins a Telegram group or channel you run as an admin that only reads. A call posted there, in the poster's own words, becomes an order in your tastytrade account. No message template, no code, and a free paper run first.

How it works

Telegram fires

Someone posts a call in the group or channel: BTO AAPL 345c 11/20, or a plain sentence. Nyria reads the chat you picked, and only the author or keyword you filter on.

Nyria reads it

Nyria reads the ticker and the side, and any strike, expiry or price the message names. Anything it leaves out comes from the strategy and the bot: size, order type, duration.

tastytrade gets the order

Each bot on the strategy places the order in its own tastytrade account through the official tastytrade API, logs it, and matches every exit alert to the position it closes.

What a Telegram alert can say

Each row is an alert as Telegram sends it, and what Nyria does with it at tastytrade.

A stock entry

NVDA long here 228

Buy NVDA. With the limit set to Alert price the order goes out at 228; with Bid, Ask or Mid, Nyria prices it from the live quote.

An options entry

BTO AAPL 345c 11/20 @ 12.50

Buy to open the AAPL $345 call expiring Nov 20, 2026. A call with no date takes the nearest listed expiration.

A crypto entry

Long BTC here

Buy BTC spot. The message has no size, so each bot's budget per entry sets it.

An exit, written as a sentence

Taking profits on NVDA here

Close the open NVDA position, matched against what the bot is holding.

Set it up

  1. 1Connect tastytrade. Sign in at tastytrade from the Integrations page in Nyria.
  2. 2In a new strategy pick Telegram and select Connect Telegram. Press Start in the chat with @NyriaAlertsBot, then tap Link in its reply.
  3. 3Add Nyria to the group or channel as an admin. You need to be its owner, or an admin who can add admins.
  4. 4Choose the chat in the strategy, filter by author or keyword if you want to, and check a real message from the preview. The strategy stays inactive until Nyria reads it correctly.
  5. 5Deploy a bot on the strategy, pick the tastytrade account and set a budget per entry. The next alert becomes an order.

Questions

What if a Telegram message is edited or arrives late?
An edited message places no order; post a new one instead. An alert that reaches Nyria more than a minute after it was posted, or after a newer one, places no new entry. A close in it still runs, and the strategy log says why.
Does Nyria post in the chat?
No. Nyria joins as an admin with one right, manage chat, and only reads. It checks the chat when you save or re-activate the strategy and at least daily, and stops reading if it is removed.
Does Nyria hold my tastytrade login?
No. You sign in at tastytrade, and Nyria receives a token that can place and cancel orders. It can't move money, and it is encrypted at rest.
Can I test before trading real money at tastytrade?
tastytrade has no paper account to connect, so run the strategy on Nyria Paper first. When the log reads the way you expect, deploy a second bot on the tastytrade account.
Where do stops and targets come from?
From your alerts. No stop or take-profit order waits at tastytrade between alerts; a close alert closes the position, matched to what the bot holds.
Can one alert trade on paper and at tastytrade at the same time?
Yes. One alert reaches every bot on the strategy, so a paper bot and a tastytrade bot can run the same strategy side by side, each with its own budget per entry.
What does it cost?
Paper trading is free with no time limit, up to 10 paper bots. Live trading at tastytrade is $100 a month per $10,000 of total entry allocation, with no per-bot fees.
