What is the easiest way to automate trading alerts?
The easiest way is a receiver that already reads your alert and places the order, so you write no broker code. Create a Nyria strategy for your alert source, paste its webhook URL into the TradingView alert or pick the Discord or Telegram channel, and deploy a bot. Start on Nyria Paper, which is free. Alert to order, sub-second.
Official documentation
Automate an alert in five steps
- 1
Keep the alert you have
Use the source you trade from now: a TradingView alert, a TrendSpider alert, a webhook, a Telegram chat or a Discord server you run.
- 2
Create a strategy
In Nyria, select Create strategy, pick the alert source and choose stocks, options or crypto. Set what an entry and an exit do on each side.
- 3
Point the alert at it
For TradingView, TrendSpider or a webhook, copy the URL from the strategy's Integration tab into the alert. For Discord or Telegram, pick the channel.
- 4
Check what Nyria read
Select Check format, then Check and save. The strategy turns Active once Nyria reads the ticker and the side, and the Logs tab shows every alert after that.
- 5
Deploy a bot on Nyria Paper
Select Deploy bot, choose Nyria Paper and set a Budget per entry. Let real alerts fire for a week, then deploy a second bot on your broker.
Messages to copy
Entry, as plain text
SPY long entry
Exit
exit SPY long
What stays your job
- You still write the rule that fires the alert.
- The alert cannot set the size. Each bot sizes the order from its Budget per entry.
- Nyria attaches no stop order to an entry, so a position closes when an exit alert arrives.
- TradingView sends webhooks on its paid plans only, with two-factor sign-in on.
Receiver or your own script
| Setting | A receiver such as Nyria | A script you write |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Create a strategy and paste a URL | Write the code that reads the alert |
| Broker connection | Connected once in the app | You build and maintain it |
| Hosting | Nothing to run | A server that stays awake |
| Order log | The Logs tab on the strategy | Whatever you build |
| Paper test | Nyria Paper, free | Your broker's sandbox if it has one |
