Guide

Can TradingView auto trade without code?

Yes, for the trading side. Set an alert on a chart, an indicator or a strategy, paste a Nyria webhook URL into its notifications, and a bot places the order at your broker. You write no code to place orders, and the message can be plain text such as SPY long entry. TradingView sends webhooks on its paid plans only, with two-factor sign-in on. Test the alert on Nyria Paper first, which is free.

Official documentation

Auto trade from TradingView with no code

  1. 1

    Create a strategy in Nyria

Select Create strategy, pick TradingView as the alert source, choose stocks, options or crypto, and set what an entry and an exit do on each side.

  2. 2

Copy the message and the URL

Open the strategy's Integration tab. The Create the alert step shows a message and the webhook URL, each with a copy button. The alert builder writes a message for a stock, option or crypto alert if you prefer your own wording.

  3. 3

    Create the alert in TradingView

Open the alert dialog and set the Condition to the indicator, drawing or strategy you watch. Paste the message in the Message box. In Notifications, select Webhook URL, paste the strategy's URL and select Create.

  4. 4

    Check the format

Back in Nyria, select Check format, then Check and save. The strategy turns Active once Nyria reads every side, and the Logs tab shows the ticker and side it read.

  5. 5

Deploy a paper bot, then a live one

Select Deploy bot, choose Nyria Paper and set a Budget per entry. When the paper orders match what you meant, deploy a second bot on your Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca account.

What no code covers, and what it does not

  • Placing orders needs no code. An alert on a built-in indicator or a drawing needs none either.
  • A Pine Script strategy is code you or someone else wrote. Its alerts work the same way once the URL is pasted in.
  • The alert cannot set the size. Each bot sizes the order from its Budget per entry.
  • Nyria attaches no stop or take-profit order to an entry, so a position closes when an exit alert arrives.

Yes. TradingView sends webhooks on its paid plans only, with two-factor sign-in turned on. Nyria is free to test on paper.
Does the message need a template?
No. Plain text or JSON in your own wording works, as long as it names the ticker and the side.
Which brokers can it trade at?
Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade and Alpaca, or Nyria Paper with no broker at all.
What does it cost?
Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
