What is copy trading with TradingView alerts?

Copy trading with TradingView alerts means one alert trades in several accounts. On Nyria, you deploy a bot on a creator's strategy and size it yourself. Each of their alerts becomes an order at your own broker. Nothing is pooled, and Nyria never holds or moves your money. Live trading runs at Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca. Alert to order, sub-second.

Official documentation

Copy a strategy in six steps

  1. 1

    The creator sends alerts

A creator's TradingView script posts each alert to their strategy's webhook URL. Each alert names a ticker and an action.

  2. 2

    You get access

A Public strategy is open to anyone with a Nyria account. On a Premium one, you pay the creator. If Free paper bots is on, you can try it before buying.

  3. 3

    Deploy a bot

Open the strategy, select Deploy bot and pick where it trades. That's Nyria Paper, or Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca.

  4. 4

    Pick a budget per entry

It sizes every order. The alert never does. One alert can place a different amount on each bot.

  5. 5

    Each alert becomes yours

The next alert goes to your broker at your size. Your bot's Logs tab shows the alert beside the order it caused.

  6. 6

    Exits follow exit alerts

A position closes on the creator's exit alert. You can also end it yourself, in Nyria or at your broker. Nyria attaches no stop order to a live entry.

What stays yours

  • The account stays yours, and the creator never signs in to it.
  • Nyria can place and cancel orders but cannot move money.
  • Nyria never sees your password. Broker tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest.
  • Creators see your name, email, broker, size and errors. Never a balance or an account number.

Your own alerts too

  • Your own strategy can run several bots across your accounts.
  • Each bot places the same alert at its own size.
  • Nyria only reads sources you control, never other people's channels.

What to know first

  • Nyria does not vet creators or their results.
  • Fills differ between accounts.
  • A live limit order can fill partly, or not at all.
  • Brokers can reject an order. Nyria does not retry a failed entry.
  • Nyria places market and limit orders on live accounts.
  • Paper shows the setup works, not whether the strategy makes money.

Questions

Is copy trading the same as mirroring a trader?
Not quite. Broker copy trading mirrors another trader's positions, and most rules are theirs. On Nyria, a bot of yours acts on each alert.
Does the creator get access to my brokerage account?
No. The connection lets Nyria place and cancel orders, not move money. The creator never sees a balance or credentials.
Can the alert set my size?
No. The size comes from the budget per entry set on each bot.
Can I copy a channel I don't run?
No. Nyria reads only sources you control, not other people's channels.
Do I need a Nyria plan to copy a strategy live?
No. A bot on a strategy you bought trades live without a Nyria Pro plan.
What does it cost?
Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
