Copy trading stocks and options at your own broker

Copy trading usually means handing money, or a login, to someone else. On Nyria it means something narrower: a creator's alerts become orders in your own brokerage account, sized by you. No money is pooled, the creator never sees your balance or your sign-in, and the account stays yours at Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca. This guide covers how that works, what you choose as a member, what the creator sets and what Nyria charges, the paper run first, and the limits.

How a creator's trade reaches your account

  1. 1

The creator's alerts are the strategy

A creator's strategy on Nyria is a set of rules around an alert source: a Discord or Telegram channel they run, a TradingView script, or their own bot posting to a webhook. Each alert names a ticker, a direction and an action, and for options the contract or the rules that pick one.

  2. 2

You deploy a bot on it

With access to the strategy, you open it, select Deploy bot, pick an account and set a budget per entry. The account is your own: Nyria Paper, or a live account at Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca. Nothing is pooled, and the creator never signs in to it.

  3. 3

Each alert becomes an order in your account

The creator's next alert places an order in every member's account at the size each one chose. Your bot's Logs tab shows the alert next to the order it caused. Nyria never holds money in a brokerage account, and trading money never leaves your broker.

Nyria never sees your password, and broker tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest. The alerts are the creator's own trades or ideas, and Nyria does not vet creators or their results.

What you choose as a member

Two things: the account and the budget per entry. The account can be Nyria Paper, a broker's own paper account at Tradier or Alpaca, or a live account at any of the four brokers. The budget per entry sizes every order. Stocks trade in whole shares and options in whole contracts, so a budget per entry smaller than one contract buys nothing, and Nyria refuses the deploy up front when a live quote shows that.

The plan you bought carries a total entry allocation. Across your live bots on that strategy, the budgets per entry can add up to that figure and no more. A bot on a strategy you bought can trade on a live broker account without a Nyria Pro plan.

What the creator sets and what Nyria charges

The creator sets the price, and each plan carries a total entry allocation the creator sets in $1,000 steps, from $1,000. Nyria's fee is $50 a month per member for each $10,000 of total entry allocation their plan allows, rounded up to the next $10,000.

Through Nyria, you pay Nyria by card on Stripe Checkout. Nyria keeps its fee, Stripe's card processing comes out of the payment, and Stripe pays the creator the rest. Nyria handles refunds and disputes.

On the creator's own Whop or Stripe checkout, you pay the creator there, and Nyria bills the creator at the end of each month. Whichever way you paid, access lasts to the end of the period you paid for; after that your bots on the strategy stop opening new positions, and exits still run.

A worked example, one alert and two members

An options strategy with the contract provided in the alert, long only, Close on exit alerts on. Entries are limit orders at Ask, Day; exits are limit orders at Bid, Day.

Entry, posted by the creator

BTO AAPL 345c 11/20 @ 9.50

Exit

STC AAPL 345c 11/20

Two members run the strategy. One has a bot on Nyria Paper with a $1,000 budget per entry; the other has a bot on a live Alpaca account with a $2,500 budget per entry. The entry names the AAPL 345 call expiring Nov 20, 2026. One contract at the $9.50 ask costs $950, so the first bot sends a Day limit order for 1 contract and the second for 2, spending $1,900. When the exit posts, each bot sends a limit order at the bid to sell what it holds. The creator wrote one message; the sizing was each member's own.

Paper first, on Nyria Paper

Nyria Paper is the simulated broker built into Nyria, free on every plan, and the free plan runs up to 10 paper bots. Deploy a paper bot on the strategy, let the creator's real alerts fire for a week or two, and read the Logs tab: every alert and order is stamped, so you can see that each message traded what the creator meant and that each exit closed its entry. A market order on Nyria Paper pays the quoted spread and never slips, so paper P&L reads better than live. Paper shows the setup works, not whether the strategy makes money.

The honest limits

Fills differ between accounts. A live limit order may fill partly, or not at all, and a spread can fill on some legs and not others. A live market order can fill past the quote. Brokers reject orders for reasons Nyria cannot see in advance, such as option approval level, pattern day trading rules, margin and cash-account settlement, and Nyria does not retry a failed or rejected entry.

You decide the sizing. Nyria places market and limit orders; it does not place stop or stop-limit orders, so a position closes when the creator posts an exit alert, or when you close it yourself in Nyria or at your broker. Start with a budget per entry you can afford to lose in full, and hold capital for both entries and exits.

Questions

Does the creator get access to my brokerage account?
No. The broker connection is yours: it lets Nyria place and cancel orders in the account, never move money. For each bot on their strategy the creator sees your name and email, the broker, live or paper, its size, and whether it is erroring. Never a balance, an account number or broker credentials.
Do I need a Nyria Pro plan to run a creator's strategy live?
No. A bot on a strategy you bought can trade on a live broker account without a Nyria Pro plan. Pro is for running strategies of your own live. Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
Can I try a strategy before I pay for it?
Sometimes. If the creator turned on Free paper bots, anyone can run the strategy on Nyria Paper without buying it; its page and Discover card say Free on paper. Live trading on it needs paid access.
