Guide

Run a Discord alert service members can auto-trade

You post the alert. Nyria reads it and places it as an order in each member's own broker account, sized by the member. This guide is for the educator or caller who runs the Discord: the channel, the wording, the strategy, what members see, and what Nyria charges.

Set up the channel

  1. 1

    One channel, alerts only

Nyria reads one channel per strategy, in a server you run, so give the alerts a channel of their own. If you call stocks and options, use a channel and a strategy for each, so sizing and broker accounts stay separate.

  2. 2

    One author

Nyria acts on messages posted in that channel from any member, bot or webhook. Lock the channel so only you, or your posting bot, can write in it, and set the Author filter to your display name. If a bot posts for you, filter on the bot's name.

  3. 3

    Typed, not pasted

Nyria does not read text in images, videos or files, and does not read a message shared with Discord's Forward feature. Type the alert, or post it as an embed from a bot. Threads and DMs are not read.

  4. 4

    Posted once

Nyria acts on a message as it was first posted. Editing or deleting it does not reverse, change or cancel the order. To get members out, post an exit alert.

Write alerts Nyria reads

There is no template. Every alert needs a ticker, a direction and an action, and Nyria ignores case, trailing punctuation, emoji and @everyone.

Options entry

AAPL 345C buy to open

Options exit, partial

sold half AAPL 345C

Stock entry

SPY long entry

Stock exit

Close long SPY

State the direction. "added more SPY" implies one without saying it, so write "added long SPY". A question such as "thinking about SPY?" places nothing. An options call with no date takes the nearest listed expiration, which can be today's (0DTE), even late in the day. A price or a stop in the message is read as a note: Nyria places no stop order, and the position closes on your exit alert. A bot that posts rich embeds works too, since Nyria reads the embed's title, description and fields.

Connect it to a strategy

  1. 1

Link Discord and invite the bot

Under Integrations, third-party integrations, open the Discord card and select Connect Discord. Create a strategy with Discord as the alert source and select Invite bot to server. The bot asks for the View Channels permission.

  2. 2

Pick the server, the channel and the filters

Choose the server, then the alerts channel, then set the Author and Keyword filters. The preview beside them shows the channel's latest 25 messages, so you can see what Nyria sees.

  3. 3

Check the format on your own posts

On the Alert format card, assign one past message to each of Long entry, Long exit, Short entry and Short exit. Nyria shows what it would have traded. When every trade type the strategy enables has a message it can read, the strategy turns Active.

  4. 4

Run it yourself on paper first

Deploy your own bot on Nyria Paper and let your real posts fire. Paper is free with no time limit. Then set Who can copy it to Premium, so only members can run it, and turn on Free paper bots if you want anyone to try it on paper before they buy.

Let members run it, on paper or live

A member with access opens the strategy, selects Deploy bot, picks the account, and sets a budget per entry. The account is their own: Nyria Paper, or a live account at Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade or Alpaca. Your next post in the channel places an order in every member's account at the size each one chose. Each member reads their own bot's Logs tab, with your alert next to the order it caused.

When a member's access ends, their bots on your strategy stop opening new positions, and exits still run.

What you can charge and what Nyria charges

You set the price. There are two ways to collect it.

On your own Whop or Stripe checkout

Connect Whop or Stripe under Integrations, price each tier of total entry allocation there, and members pay you on that checkout. Nyria bills you at the end of each month for the members subscribed to your strategies that month: $50 a month per member for each $10,000 of total entry allocation their tier allows, rounded up to the next $10,000. You are billed for a member once they claim access in Nyria. Nothing before a member pays.

Through Nyria

Set a monthly price in the plan editor and Nyria sells the strategy for you, with no creator plan or card on file. Members pay Nyria by card on Stripe Checkout. Nyria keeps the same fee, Stripe's card processing comes out of the payment, and the rest is your share, sent to your Stripe Express account and paid to your bank on your payout schedule. Each plan has a lowest price, shown in the plan editor, so a standard US card payment still leaves you something. A month with no members costs nothing. Nyria handles refunds and disputes, and a refund takes back the same part of your share.

The creators page has the calculator, and the Whop guide walks the product setup.

Say what it is

The alerts are your own trades or ideas. Nyria reads them and places the order, and it does not vet creators or their results. Do not promise returns, and quote past results only as the creator policy allows. You are responsible for following financial regulations when you sell access to a strategy.

Questions

Do members need their own Nyria plan?
No. A bot on a strategy a member bought can trade on a live broker account without a Nyria Pro plan of their own.
What can I see about the members running it?
For each bot: the member's name and email, the broker it runs on, whether the account is live or paper, its size, and whether it is erroring. Never a balance, an account number or broker credentials.
Can members try it before they pay?
Yes, if you turn on Free paper bots. Anyone can then run the strategy on Nyria Paper without buying it. Live trading on it needs paid access.

Run your alerts on a paper bot first

Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
