How do I connect Claude to Nyria through MCP?

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, select + Add, then Add custom connector, and paste your Nyria strategy's MCP server URL. Under Authentication choose No sign in, because the token in the URL is the key. Claude lists custom connectors on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Claude Code connects with one command. Start with a paper bot.

Connect Claude in six steps

    Copy the strategy's MCP server URL

    In Nyria, create a strategy with the alert source AI Agent (MCP). Open it, select the Integration tab, then Show URL, and copy the MCP server URL. It looks like https://api.nyria.io/mcp/YOUR_TOKEN.

    Put a paper bot on the strategy

    Deploy a bot on Nyria Paper. It is free and fills against simulated money, so the first alerts cost nothing.

    Add a custom connector

    In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. Click + Add, then Add custom connector. Enter a name such as Nyria, paste the MCP server URL and click Continue. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it under Organization settings, then Connectors.

    Choose No sign in

    Under Authentication, choose No sign in, then click Add. The token in the URL is the key, so there is no sign-in screen.

    Or use Claude Code

    In a terminal, run the command below with your token in place of YOUR_TOKEN. That adds a server named nyria.

    Try a preview

    Start a new chat, turn the connector on and ask Claude to list your bots, then to preview the alert buy AAPL. A preview places nothing.

What Claude can call

  • nyria_preview_alert reads an alert and shows what Nyria would do. It places no order.
  • nyria_send_alert sends the alert to every bot on the strategy.
  • nyria_strategy_info shows the strategy's name, status and active bot count.
  • nyria_recent_orders lists the strategy's recent orders with status, quantity and price.
  • nyria_list_bots lists each bot's broker, whether it is live or paper, and its status.

Before an alert goes live

  • On a strategy with a live bot, a sent alert places a real order at that broker.
  • The bot decides the size. The message does not.
  • Nyria attaches no stop order to an entry. Closes come from exit alerts.
  • The URL is the key to one strategy. Keep it out of chats and screenshots.
  • Select Rotate token on the Integration tab to cut off the old URL.

Header option

  • Claude's Request headers section is a beta for some organizations. If you have it, use https://api.nyria.io/mcp as the URL and add an Authorization header with the value Bearer YOUR_TOKEN.
  • Claude connects from Anthropic's cloud, not from your device.

Claude's help center lists custom connectors on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free accounts get one custom connector.
Does Claude Code work with Nyria too?
Yes. Claude Code adds Nyria with one claude mcp add command over HTTP, with your token in an Authorization header.
Can Claude place real trades with Nyria?
Yes, when the strategy has a live bot. The send tool passes the alert to every bot on the strategy, and a live bot places a real order at its broker. A paper bot only simulates.
How do I cut Claude off?
Select Rotate token on the strategy's Integration tab and confirm. The old MCP URL stops working at once.
What does it cost?
