How do I move a paper trading bot to live trading?
Open the Go live page from the dashboard's Go live button. It takes you through a plan, connecting your broker, and Run this bot live. That starts a new bot on your live account with the paper bot's strategy and settings, at a size you confirm. The paper bot keeps running and the webhook URL stays the same. The live deploy asks you to accept the risk disclosure. A live bot needs Nyria Pro or a Premium strategy you've bought.

Go live in six steps
- 1
Paper trade first
Paper trade the strategy for 1 to 2 weeks. Compare each fill on the strategy's Logs tab with TradingView's alert log. Dropped or doubled alerts show up here first.
- 2
Open Go live
Select Go live on the dashboard. The page walks through a plan, the broker connection and Run this bot live.
- 3
Connect the live account
On the Go live page, connect your broker. Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade and Alpaca run live bots. Neither Charles Schwab nor tastytrade connects a paper account, so test those on Nyria Paper first.
- 4
Confirm the size
Run this bot live starts a new bot on the live account with the paper bot's settings. You confirm the size. Start with a budget per entry you can afford to lose in full.
- 5
Accept the risk disclosure
A live deploy asks you to accept it. The paper bot keeps running on paper, so you can compare the two.
- 6
Run the daily check
Open Notifications on the Live filter. Read each live bot's Logs tab for Failed or Needs attention. Compare Live now with your broker's positions page.
What stays the same
- The strategy and its webhook URL. Your TradingView alert needs no change.
- The bot's settings, copied to the live bot at a size you confirm.
- The paper bot, which keeps running unless you pause it.
- One bot per strategy per broker account, so a second live account needs its own bot.
What paper never tested
- Slippage and spread. A live market order can fill past the quote.
- Partial fills. A spread can fill on some legs and not others.
- Broker rejections, such as options approval, PDT and margin.
- Halts, gaps, assignment and corporate actions.
Questions
- Do I have to rebuild the strategy to go live?
- No. Run this bot live copies the paper bot's strategy and settings to a new bot on the live account. The webhook URL stays the same.
- Can I keep the paper bot running too?
- Yes. The paper bot keeps running on paper. Stats are recorded per bot, so its numbers never mix into the live bot's.
- Why can't I pick a live account?
- A live bot needs a Nyria Pro plan or access to a Premium strategy you've bought. The Live and Paper switch above the account list sets which accounts you can pick.
- Is there another way to go live?
- Yes. Deploy a second bot on the same strategy to the live account, or edit the paper bot and pick the live account. The next alert then goes to the live broker.
- What does it cost?
- Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
