Which brokers can TradingView alerts trade through

A TradingView alert can call a webhook URL, and that is all it does on its own: no broker reads it. Nyria is the webhook. It reads the message, and a bot on the strategy places the order in the brokerage account you connected. So the question of which brokers a TradingView alert can trade through is the question of which brokers Nyria connects. Here is the list as it stands today, how each one connects, what each one trades, and where to check a message before it fires.

The list today

  1. 1

    Charles Schwab

    Stocks and options. Live accounts only.

    Connects with: Broker sign-in: Schwab's site opens, you grant Nyria the permissions, and you come back.

  2. 2

    Tradier

    Stocks and options. Live, or paper on Tradier Sandbox.

    Connects with: Broker sign-in for a live account. For Sandbox, an account number and access token from the Tradier developer portal.

  3. 3

    tastytrade

    Stocks and options. Live accounts only. Crypto is disabled through its API, per its release notes of Jun 29, 2026.

    Connects with: Broker sign-in.

  4. 4

    Alpaca

    Stocks, options and crypto spot. Paper or live.

    Connects with: API key and secret from the Alpaca dashboard.

  5. 5

    Nyria Paper

    Simulated stocks, options, crypto spot and perpetuals. Free on every plan.

    Connects with: One click. Nothing to fill in.

Coming soon, and not connectable yet: Webull, TradeStation, Binance, Binance US, Coinbase, Coinbase US and Tradovate. Exchange futures such as ES or NQ are not tradeable on any connectable broker today. Until yours is live, test the strategy for free on paper, or use any other live broker.

Sign-in or API key, and what it lets Nyria do

Nyria connects to each broker through the broker's own API. Charles Schwab, Tradier live and tastytrade connect by signing in at the broker: its site opens, you grant Nyria the permissions it asks for, and you come back. Tradier Sandbox and Alpaca connect with credentials you generate in the broker's own dashboard and paste in. Nyria Paper connects in one click. In every case Nyria never sees your password; it can place and cancel orders but cannot move money, and broker tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest.

Open Integrations in the left sidebar, select the broker's card, choose Connect live account or Connect paper account where the broker offers both, and finish the connection. Check it shows Connected, the right account number, and Paper or Live. You can connect several accounts at one broker, paper and live; each is a separate integration, and each bot trades exactly one of them. If a broker shows Disconnected, select Reconnect and sign in again or enter a new key.

One message, whichever broker the bot runs on

The broker is chosen when you deploy the bot, not in the alert. The message does not change between brokers.

Strategy script: one Order fills only alert per ticker

{
  "action": "{{strategy.order.action}}",
  "instrument": "{{ticker}}",
  "marketPosition": "{{strategy.market_position}}",
  "prevMarketPosition": "{{strategy.prev_market_position}}",
  "contracts": "{{strategy.order.contracts}}",
  "price": {{close}}
}

A message can be plain text or JSON, and TradingView fills in placeholders such as {{ticker}} before it sends the alert. A strategy() script fires on every order it fills, so the message above is created once per ticker; an indicator() needs one alert per side, each spelling out its own action and direction. The size never comes from the message: {{strategy.order.contracts}} is reference only, and Nyria sizes each order from the budget per entry of the bot. TradingView replaces only its own placeholders, so a Pine variable such as {{syminfo.ticker}} reaches Nyria exactly as typed, and nothing trades.

Worked through: a strategy() script on SPY with that message, and three bots on the strategy. One runs on Nyria Paper, connected in one click. One runs on an Alpaca paper account, connected with an API key and secret. One runs on a Charles Schwab live account, connected by signing in at Schwab. The alert fires once; each bot places an order in its own account, in whole shares, sized by its own budget per entry. Nothing in TradingView knew which broker was on the other end.

Where to check a message

Before an alert trades, read it the way Nyria will. The alert tester takes a pasted TradingView, Discord or Telegram alert and shows the order, the ticker, the option legs, or the refusal it would get. The TradingView alert message builder writes and checks a strategy or indicator message for you, free and with no account needed. Inside the app, the strategy's Integration tab checks the message you wrote and turns the strategy Active when every side passes.

The copy-ready messages and every placeholder are on the TradingView alert messages page of the docs, and the broker table with paper and live per broker is on Connect your first broker.

Questions

Can a TradingView alert trade at a broker that is not on the list?
No. A bot places orders only in an account Nyria has connected, and today that is Charles Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade, Alpaca and Nyria Paper. Webull, TradeStation, Binance, Binance US, Coinbase, Coinbase US and Tradovate are coming soon and are not connectable yet.
Do I need an API key for Schwab or tastytrade?
No. Both connect by signing in at the broker's own site and granting Nyria the permissions it asks for: to read accounts and positions, and to place and cancel orders. API credentials are for Tradier Sandbox and Alpaca.
What does it cost?
Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month.
