What is ALERT_NOT_ACTIONABLE?

The reason code Nyria logs when a message has no tradeable action: no ticker, no direction, or only analysis and commentary. The message is not an error and nothing is ordered.

Can I set the position size in the message?

No. Order size comes from its Budget per entry, not from the message. A message that says 10 contracts is treated as commentary and the bot uses its own size.

What expiration formats work in Discord or Telegram?

What format does a Discord or Telegram trading alert use?

Discord and Telegram alerts are plain text. Nyria reads the ticker, direction and action from the message. No required format. Any message that mentions a ticker and a direction, or uses standard floor-trader shorthand like BTO, STC, long, short or close, is enough.

Any phrasing that names the ticker and the side works. Price in the message is ignored.

Common mistakes

Alert without a ticker: Nyria cannot identify the instrument and skips the message.

Exit without the ticker: Nyria needs the ticker to match the exit to the open position.
